Yumi Chung is a shy 7th grader who is a wannabe comedian, one day while she is walking she stumbles upon a comedy club where her idol is teaching a class to kids. The people there think that Yumi is another girl who was taking a class, but Yumi doesn't correct them. One lie snowballs into a full new identity. But what will Yumi do if the lies she tell unravel?
Hey guys! Long time no see (sorry about that) But today we are back with the book reviews. Today we are going to be talking about a book I recently read by Jessica Kim. I think it was really enjoyable for people of all ages. The writing style reminded me a lot of Front Desk (I have a review of that book too) so if you liked Front Desk you will probably like Stand Up, Yumi Chung.
